포스트휴머니즘 표현특성을 적용한 미디어테크 실내공간에 관한 연구

Although we can acquire much information from anywhere in this information age, there is difficulty in obtaining practical and useful information and re-creating it. This indicates that the library of the future, unlike that of the past, must take into account not only access to information but also utilization. Meeting this requirement, libraries are seeing changes in concepts, more complex programs, and diversification of information media, which all help to transform libraries into a new place of culture. While such trend is surfacing in the form of mediatheque, Korea is still at a transitional period in which such library spaces are called media libraries and digital libraries. Under such circumstances, the current study reviews the background in which mediatheque surfaced, as well as spatial programs, in an attempt to understand the new trend. Furthermore, the current study will focus on the expression attributes of post-humanism, a school of thought triggered by the reconstruction of the human concept after the rapid development of science and technology. As a result of various studies of cases in Korea and abroad, the study finds that Korea is at a stage in which it is beginning to accept cultural and artistic programs in the libraries, and while communication using cutting-edge media technologies is vibrant in Korea, other expressive attributes are more passively used compared to cases in other countries. In conclusion, such issues must be understood better, and there must be increased attempts to understand the necessity for mediatheque in preparation for a new era; as there is an increasing requirement for a more variegated spatial formation and complex spaces for various programs, more research must be conducted in this regard.
