Algorithm for Large Scene Imaging of Airborne MIMO Radar

Aimed at the problem of the reference function mismatch associated with target imaging away from the scene center,this paper analyzes the characteristics of mismatch function with the airborne MIMO radar imaging theoretically,presents a large scene imaging algorithm for airborne MIMO radar based on the strip partition of target scene,and derives the constraint relation of the strip partition as well.This algorithm can reduce the influence of mismatch function on the imaging result and increase the imaging scene width of airborne MIMO radar effectively by means of partitioning the mapping swath into multiple narrow strips along the range direction.Finally,the proposed algorithm is tested by using the simulated single-target and multi-targets data,and the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is feasible,thus implementing high resolution imaging in wide range of the mapping swath.
