Change-related rehaviour and information systems

This field study investigated the effects of human needs, group influence, and management style in an organizational systems change context using the Fishbein and Ajzen paradigm. The research revealed a positive relationship between subjects' needs and their supportiveness of the change. Also, a positive relationship was found between the workplace group and individual group members' intentions supportive of the change. In addition, a considerate management style was related to supportive behavioural intentions. Finally, path analysis revealed a path from human needs to behavioural intention, as well as paths from group norm and management style to behavioural intention.
