Evolving factor analysis applied to flow injection analysis data

Evolving factor analysis is used to estimate the concentration profiles and spectra of Bi3+ and the bismuth chloride complexes BiC12+ through BiCl  63− formed by injection of bismuth perchlorate into a flowing stream of 1·0 mol 1−1 HCl. The estimated spectra compare favorably with previously published spectra of the complexes.
