A thermophysical heavy water properties package for thermal-hydraulic accident analysis codes

A thermodynamic and transport properties package for heavy water (D2O) has been prepared. This package has been implemented in an advanced Nuclear Reactors Thermal-Hydraulic accident analysis code. Several practical problems are analyzed and a comparison between D2O and H2O as cooling agents is presented.
