VTM—a New Method of Measuring Ocular Torsion Using Image‐Processing Techniques

We have developed and validated a new, relatively inexpensive method of measuring ocular torsion.' The luminance distribution of a sector of the iris of the observer at rest is cross-correlated with the same sector during test, and the shift in the peak of the cross-correlation function is a measure of torsion. Our realization of this method4 is called VTM, and this paper reports the method and validation.
