조선시대 중층목조건축물 상하층 접합부에 관한 연구

This study scrutinizes the joint methods of the lower story's roof frame and the upper story's body part in the multi-story buildings of the Joseon dynasty. In this study, The joint methods are categorized into several types according to their structure and design. Among 40 existing multi-story buildings of the Joseon dynasty, 21 of them have detailed records on their dimensions and the rest were used as the reference. We can categorize 6 types of the composition for the joint part according to the load transfer system and structural composition of the lower story's roof frame. The load transfer system are distributed three types: separation type, transfer type and direct type. These three types are also divided into complete type and incomplete type. Looking at the usage of buildings by these 6 type, the complete-separation type and the incomplete-transfer type were used in the buddhist temple buildings, the complete-direct type and the incomplete-direct type were used in the central government buildings, the incomplete-separation type and the complete-transfer type were used in the local government buildings. In conclusion, the usage of interior space have an effect on the composition for the joint part.
