Research on Context-based Instances Selection of Microservice

The1 deployment environment and execution conditions of microservices and Web services are different. Web service selection needs to consider aspects of QoS such as reliability, availability, and response time. Microservices not only need to consider QoS attribute information, but also consider the server's load and other aspects. Compared to papers with fixed weight information, this paper uses the information in historical context database to dynamically determine the weight of each contextual information. The algorithm of context-based instances selection of microservice named ACISM is proposed. ACISM uses the dynamically acquired weight information to obtain result and uses the result to select the microservice instance. This can weaken the decisiveness of user's subjective selection by using the dynamical weight information. ACISM balances the influence of subjective and objective factors and can improve the accuracy of microservice instances selection and shorten the response time.
