Prevalence of cervical vertebral stenotic myelopathy in a population of thoroughbred horses

CERVICAL vertebral stenotic myelopathy (CVSM) is a common cause of spinal ataxia and paresis in horses that results from stenosis of the cervical vertebral canal and static or dynamic compression of the spinal cord ([Nout and Reed 2003][1]). The disease is seen commonly in young, rapidly growing
