Boundary judgment in system dynamics modeling: An investigation through the science of complexity

Since the publication of J. W. Forrester ' s initial work, much attention has been paid to the conceptualization process in SD modeling, particularly to pitfalls, traps, and other difficulties awaiting the modeler. Mass (1986) has brought out several questions surrounding conceptualization in SD quite sharply. He asked the following seven questions, which still remain only partially answered today.
