Design and Realization of Electronic Image Stabilization Platform Based on Gray Projection Algorithm

Based on the architecture of DSP+FPGA,a real-time,embedded electronic image stabilization system is developed.As the main processor,DSP complete the motion estimation and motion filtering function of the gray projection algorithm,FPGA complete the gray projection accumulation and motion compensation.Comply with the Nios II processor,FPGA also complete the function of system timing control,configuration of video decoder and video encoder,image capture and image display control,EMIF bus port control,image frame buffering.The experimental results indicate that the system can stabilize the 25 f/s(720×576) video which has ±30 pixels's floating at horizon and vertical direction in real-time and the precision is one pixel.
