고정된 우선순위의 실시간 시스템에서 주기와 비주기 태스크의 동적 전압 조절 기법에 관한 연구

The Dynamic Voltage Scaling is a technique to reduce the energy consumption as adjusting the frequency clock and supply voltage dynamically. Tasks could be divided to periodic-tasks and aperiodic-tasks. Periodic-tasks apply DVS technique easily because we can know period, execution time and deadline of each task. However, it is hard to use DVS technique in aperiodic tasks because tasks arrive sporadic. In this paper, we propose a new efficient DVS algorithm using the deferrable server for aperiodic-tasks and existing DVS algorithm based on workload. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm obtains energy consumption reduction about 8% more than the existing algorithm in mixed-tasks systems.
