With the economic development and enriched products, consumers pay more attention to the emotional experience in product design. Kansei Engineering is an effective method that can assist designer to obtain the user's emotional requirement, in which the survey of kansei image is the basis to implement the method. The research uses the popular open-Web server application development technology ASP (Active Server Pages) to construct the Kansei Image Survey System (KISS) based on network platform. The main content is as follows. Firstly, all kinds of form picture of each product are collected by Network search engine to establish the updated and classified product form database. Secondly, the kansei image words are collected from related research, websites, magazines and consumers in interview, to build up the Kansei Image database for expressing consumer’s emotional feelings. Thirdly, in accordance with the semantic differential method, the product form samples and the kansei image words are respectively selected from the product form database and the Kansei Image database; then the network survey questionnaires are automatically generated by the system. Fourthly, the subjects fill in questionnaires according as the web guideline. Finally, the researcher obtains the required survey data based on the research purpose. The researchers have applied the KISS to the classic furniture material survey, the music player form survey, etc. It is verified that the KISS can effectively aid to explore the consumers’ kansei image.
