Study on Universal Testing Pedestal Structural Model Selection at UHV Tower Test Base

The full-scale transmission tower test is an important means to check the reasonability of tower structural design.The completion of UHV tower test base satisfied the test requirements of the UHV project construction and new standard of tower structural de-icing design.The universal testing pedestal is a major structure of the UHV tower test base.Based on study of advantages and disadvantages of the various domestic and foreign existing universal testing pedestals,the universal testing pedestal will adopt the cress-shaped multiple-slot scheme finally,which is economical in cost, and convenient for operation and maintained,whose partitioned structure design is also advantage to mass concrete construction in winter.
