도시철도 전동차용 전력반도체 냉각장치에 대한 연구

Generally, two types of cooling methods are used in cooling system for Power semiconductors of Urban EMU : Evaporative cooling method using evaporation and condensation cycle of working fluid, and Passive air cooling method. In EMUs operated by Seoulmetro, passive air cooling method, tank type evaporative method which uses gas as its working fluid, and hybrid cooling method, which applies both passive air cooling and evaporative cooling, are used as the technology level offers at the time of manufacture of the EMUs. Power semiconductors in EMUs generate lots of heat due to the high frequency switching, and the heat should be dissipated for proper operation of the semiconductors. In this Study can promote a safety operation through a study of Cooling System removing Heat caused after Power Semiconductor Operation.
