Phaeohyphomycosis in a cat caused by Alternaria infectoria E. G. Simmons

Summary. The first case of phaeohyphomycosis in a cat caused by Alternaria infectoria E. G. Simmons is reported. A. infectoria was isolated from several cutaneous nodules. Treatment of the cat with itraconazole is described.
