Nonlinear mitigation using probabilistically shaped real-valued modulation formats

We experimentally demonstrate probabilistically-shaped modulation formats with increased spectral efficiency and nonlinear mitigation capabilities compared to phase-conjugated twin-waves QPSK at 54.2 Gbaud, yielding 21 % increased reach.
