Real time video streaming over Bluetooth using software technique

This paper provides an important method to enhance the performance of a Personal Area Network (PAN), through forging the Bluetooth (BT) communication technology programming infrastructure to provide a decent solution for the PAN service ability of real time video streaming without any additional hardware. This system was implemented to provide the said service between any two personnel computers (PC) by capturing a video streaming (25 frames/second) via a camera mounted on the first PC, then transmitting through the Bluetooth this video to be viewed in real time mode on the second PC. This system can be used to transmit/receive real time images in medical applications such as echographic images and/or IRM images.
