Analysis and Optimization for Operating Speed Model on Straight Section on Highway

Authors studied the accelerated mode of operating speed forecasting model,analyzed the speed forecasting traffic rules of observing section and found the problems of forecasting model.Differential equation deduction,the calculation of the acceleration time and length, acceleration curve drawing methods were used for analysis of straight section speed acceleration model.By introduction of dynamic acceleration concept,authors designed a scientific characterization of highway straight section speed changes and the node's speed calculation method called as dynamic acceleration method.Results show that dynamic acceleration method which combines the realtime speed and acceleration organically and links to the desired speed can better simulate the vehicle in the straight section of the actual acceleration state.Dynamic acceleration method as a new perspective and new method has further theoretical and practical value.
