Photonics-Enabled 2Tx/2Rx Coherent MIMO Radar System Experiment with Enhanced Cross Range Resolution

Photonics enables a multi-target experiment of coherent MIMO radar. It confirms that coherence introduces almost one order of magnitude improvement in the cross-range resolution. Simulations demonstrates the coherent bi-band operation benefits on the system performance.
