The paper describes an application of soft computing methods of rough sets and Bayesian inference to a breast cancer detection using electro-potentials. The statistical principal component analysis (PCA) and the rough sets methods were applied for feature extraction, reduction and selection. The quadratic discriminant was applied as a classifier for a breast cancer detection.
