GENERATING ELECTRICITY USING PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIAL

This paper discusses the use of piezoelectric material to generate electricity. This includes the basic theoretical modelling of the electrical power generation mechanisms and optimization of the piezo-host system. It is shown that with proper configuration, a single piezo-film can generate enough electrical density that can be stored in a rechargeable battery for later usage.
