Battery management system (BMS) controlling high voltage output according to collision signals

The invention discloses a battery management system (BMS) controlling high voltage output according to collision signals. The system monitors safe airbag output signal periods in real time through a main control unit; if the safe airbag output signal periods are in a set value range, an output unit operates normally, and a power battery pack outputs normally; if the safe airbag output signal periods are smaller than 10 times of the set value, a vehicle is determined to be collided, safe airbags start, and the battery management system cuts off main positive and negative contactors of a power battery pack output unit, high voltage output of the power battery pack, an inner contactor inside the power battery pack and the connections in series of inner batteries. When an electric vehicle is collided, the battery management system cuts off high voltage output of the power battery pack and inner connections, and safety of the electric vehicle is improved; compared with the prior art, additional hardware facilities are almost omitted, cost is low, and operating reliability is high.
