A NEW PRECONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY FOR FLUID DYNAMICS

A new preconditioning technology using the primal variables of pressure, velocity and enthalpy is introduced in this paper. This technology, based on time-marching algorithm, unified the methods of CFD for compressible and incompressible fluid. It can deal with the flow fields with compressible, incompressible and phase transitional fluid. It can be used to simulate the flow field with cavitation.
