In an effort to realize good governance or good government, administrative discipline is one of the important part that must be achieved in the running of governance, including the field of archives. Archives in sub-section building Yogyakarta Presidential Palace still managed manually. Still found data that has not been archived with neat, scattered or lost. There are limitations of time and effort in its management, is very time consuming to find a document when needed. When it often occurs will greatly hinder the user in performing their duties. In this study conducted a needs analysis document archiving system using user-centered design approach (UCD) Web-based. Measuring the level of acceptance and support of potential users is done by creating a questionnaire data collection instruments within the framework of the System Usability Scale (SUS) using Likert Scale for calculating the variable. The result is an archive of information system prototype building (Simarsip building) web-based which can be used by the user / analyst, viewed by employees and can be monitored by the Executive Board. Usability evaluation results produce value 77.25> 70 included in the category of usable, meaningful level of reusability of these applications can be accepted and used easily by the user to achieve organizational objectives so as to assist in carrying out the
