A real-time on-line energy monitoring and management system mainly comprises an on-line management module, a central server, a communication device, an interface conversion device, a sensor assembly, a metering device unit and an energy supply and energy demand module. The sensor assembly for acquiring information is connected and transmitted to a computer server through the communication device, and a wireless router; and the metering device unit is connected to an internal server through the interface conversion device, then is connected with the central server and the on-line management module. The optimal energy usage scheme is found by combining on-line monitoring and an energy management and optimization method. Wireless transmission can be accessed and controlled remotely by the Internet; compared with wired transmission, the wireless transmission is advantaged in that the wireless transmission is low in cost and good in environmental adaptability, and devices are convenient to install and maintain, and the like; and the wireless transmission can provide an effective energy monitoring and management system to enterprises, and energy consumption conditions can be mastered in real time.
