Fabrication and Operating Mechanism Analysis of Vertical Structure Copper-Phthalocyanine Transistor

We have fabricated Au/ CuPc / Al / CuPc /Au of five layers structure organic thin film transistor with vertical conductive channel. After testing its basic operating characteristics, we analyze the relation between device structure and operating characteristics of the transistor. The transistor has low driving voltage alonging with no-saturated current-voltage. Gate voltage has great control action on operating characteristics of organic static induction transistor. We can design a rational structure for the device to form a vertical conductive channel. It contributes to improving the driving voltage and switching characteristics of organic transistor.
