Experimental studies on the column strength of eccentrically compressed square
hollow section filled with high-strength concrete are presented in this paper.
The existence of filled-concrete, specimen length-section depth ratio(L /D=4,
8, 12, 18, 24, 30) and magnitude of eccentricity(e=0.0cm, 2.08cm, 6.25cm, 10.40cm)
are taken as the main parameters.
The objectives of this paper are to examine maximum load and the effects of high
strength concrete, and to compare high strength concrete-filled case with normal
concrete-filled case.
