The present invention relates to a head gimbal assembly and a servo controller in a disc drive, and more particularly to a mechanism and a drive control method and apparatus for reducing off-track due to disk vibration head movement of the disk drive. The present invention provides a servo controller for varying the gain in the disk vibration frequency range so as to optimize the PES from disk vibration range, and also provide an improved head gimbal assembly to reduce the track miss writing (TMR). The head gimbal assembly is simple mechanically, as the latest head gimbal assembly, and support the slider is moved in parallel on a flat surface of the disc and reduces the TMR induced by disk vibration. This is easy to make more accessible than other methods known from similar track density and rotation rate (rate), which is more reliable and costs are low manufacturing costs. The head gimbal assembly improvement includes an improved mechanism for moving the slider parallel to the top surface of the disc when the disc and the flat surface, quickly moving the slider toward the disk tracks when the surface been bent.
