Lightweight Primary Reflector and Design of Supporting Structure for Space Imaging System

In order to reduce the launching cost,it is important to reduce the weight of primary reflector. The lightweight of primary reflector, the supporting mode, the radial and the number of supporting are discussed based on theoretical and finite element analysis.Considering the influence of slight gravitation and the change of temperature under the working circumference, the design of flexure mounts and the deformation of the surface of the primary reflector caused by them are discussed.Under the circumference of simulation, the deformations of the surface of the primary reflector supported by both the rigid mounts and flexure mounts are calculated and contrasted. The contrast validates the importance of using the flexure mounts in space imaging system.
