Aviation and Airport Security: Terrorism and Safety Concerns

Terrorism is a term used to describe an action or actions intended to instill fear and uncertainty in a population. Terrorists are often fundamentalists intent on securing their intolerant, limited views and personal agendas. This book attempts to describe the issues involved in aviation safety and security. What is at stake, what is involved, and what are the consequences of failing to recognize the potential threats and acting to minimize the risk.
