Induction motor sliding mode control performance results

This paper presents a scheme for the induction motor speed and rotor flux control using the sliding mode technique. The mathematical model suitable for the sliding mode control is derived in the reference frame fixed to the rotor flux vector. A nonlinear switching surface is proposed, and a controller is designed to guarantee that the sliding mode is reached and sustained. The simulation and experimental results are presented.<<ETX>>
