A new method of simulation the fabric in 3D

First, abstract three base structures form the fabric: Knit, Tuck, Welt, then build the model of them. Second, analysis a picture of fabric texture, then get the data about the how to arrange the base structure. Connect the base structure accord these data to get a simple yarn center line. After this step, we can get a simple fabric frame. Third, get several points of each base structure in a yarn as control points, and generate the NURBS base on these control points as smooth yarn center line. Then set the cross section of the yarn, and generate the mesh of the yarn surface. The last, show the mesh accorder the color of yarn, we can generate the realistic fabric. And use the mass-spring model to simulate the transmutation of fabric when be draw.
