Distortion research of shear wall structure supported on frame under earthquake actions

Shear wall structure supported on frame-shear wall structure is used frequently in civil engineering.Based on the zonal mixed method,the distortion of shear wall structure supported on frame under earthquake actions is researched in this paper.The whole structure can be divided into two parts which are shear wall structure above transfer story and frame-shear wall structure under transfer story,and can be analyzed in substructure method.Under earthquake actions,the distortions of shear wall structure above transfer story and frame-shear wall structure under transfer story can be calculated by their intrinsic horizontal displacement formulas respectively.Considering the harmony of distortions of the two divided structures,the horizontal displacement formulas of whole structure is deduced strictly,and some figures of the horizontal displacement are given.This method is proved that it is accurate and convenient enough for use when tall buildings are designed in earthquake zone during the preliminary design.
