Platoon Making Support and Acceptance Verification of HMI for Platoon Systems

This paper describes the human machine interface (HMI) of the platoon system of the heavy-duty truck which aims at CO₂ reduction and energy saving. This HMI mainly performs information indicating in consideration of safety or sense of security. Mainly, it describes support of platoon making, and the construction of HMI towards actual use. Furthermore, verification of the acceptance as HMI of the platoon system by professional driver is performed through the actual test-riding and questionnaire.本報告では CO₂ 削減と省エネルギーを目指す大型トラックの隊列走行システムにおける,安全性や安心感を考慮した車内外への情報提示を行うヒューマンマシンインターフェース(HMI)について,隊列形成の支援と受容性の検証について述べる.
