Charge sharing concept for power efficiency and EME improvement of boosted charge pumps in NVMs

A new power saving concept for boosted charge pumps is introduced, which combines two-step charging, charge sharing and a simplified clocking scheme to double the power efficiency. Simultaneously, the peak value of the charging current is reduced by a factor of 3, improving the EME behaviour significantly.
