Approach to develop electronic sand table system for irrigation area

Focused on the demands of water supply allocation in the irrigation area of lower reaches of Luan river,this paper studied synchronous display of the informationized physical location data correspondingly in the sand table,and introduced the approach and procedures of developing the sand table.The clients were based on Flash rich media technique,while the servers were based on.NET platform technology.Both modeling and Google Earth image processing technology were applied in sand table system.The function was realized by the geography space display between gate,bridge,culvert,canal aqueduct,buildings,and other real-time scenes data.The experimental results show the proposed method has the advantages of short development period,excellent effects,closeness to users and so on.
