Method and system for adjusting connection tank

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a system for adjusting a connection tank. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a current utilization rate of system resources in a current system; judging whether the current utilization rate is greater than a pre-set threshold value or not; when the current utilization rate is greater than the pre-set threshold value, idle connection in the connection tank of the current system is deleted according to a pre-set numerical value; after the idle connection of the pre-set numerical value is deleted, returning back to obtain the current utilization rate of the system resources in the current system, and stopping deleting the idle connection in the connection tank until the current utilization rate is smaller than the pre-set threshold value so that the system resources occupied by the idle connection in the connection tank is distributed to other application programs under the condition that the system resources are constrained. Furthermore, the wastes of the system resources are avoided, the resource utilization rate is improved, and the stability of the system is also improved.
