Design character of complex layout in Yongqing equalizing reservoir

Yongqing reservoir is an equalizing reservoir of Fengman hydropower station. Elements of the discharge during hump modulation of Fengman hydropower station and continuously water supply to downstream are considered, the outlet works must have functions of water retaining, water supply and flood discharging, so the layout is complex. The paper introduces the choice of complex layout and design character of outlet gate, free spillway dam, concrete gravity dam and sand and gravel dam.
