A Comparative study of Graphical tools for the Fault Monitoring using HBG and DBH Formalisms

In the present paper, an alternative causal graph based fault detection scheme is designed. The quantitative reasoning is based on the hamiltonian bond graph (HBG), as a graphical model combining the bond graph (BG) and the port hamiltonian (PH) formalisms for characterizing power interactions between submodels, is involved herein in modeling and fault detection of systems. The qualitative reasoning, we capture the qualitative effects of faults on the measurements using the directed behavioral hypergraph (DBH) derived automatically from (HBG) model. And then we compare and discuss the approche qualitative and quantitative, to demonstrate their diagnostic ability for the physical system.
