Experimental study on property of air-entrained concrete for airport pavement

The airport pavement concrete is different from concrete used in ordinary building projects.An experiment is carried out,which is about the workability,strength and anti-freezing property of the airport pavement concrete influenced by the air content.The experiments indicate that the flexural strength will decrease with the increasing of the air content.While the flexural strength decreases gently if the air content is within the range of 3.5%~5.5%.The anti-freezing property of the concrete will increase with the increasing of the air content,and it can meet the an- ti-freezing requirement of airport pavement concrete when the air content is more than 3%.
