Operational Model of the Reconfiguration of Corporate Technology Strategy

This paper reviews the correlative theories of technology strategy, puts forward a proposition of technology strategy reconfiguration, constructs a model of firm's technology strategy reconfiguration, analyzes its basic types, operational mechanism of reconfiguration, and finds a decision support system which be used to make use of some mathematical methods to identify and inspect strategic reconfiguration. Moreover, the model that reflects strategic performing process can help many companies to reconfigure their technological strategy. According to the empirical study on 30 large Chinese corporations in manufacture industry, this paper also presents analysis of descriptive statistics and pairwise correlations for some variables that be used to inspect reconfiguration of technology strategy. So the research provides a feasible road to advance corporate Indigenous Innovation in China.
