The Design and Implementation of Web-based Formula Retrieval System

Formulas are used more and more on the web. Retrieval of formulas is becoming more and more important for those who try to find scientific information.The popular Search Engines,however,fail to search math formulas.On the basis of analysis of mathematic formulas characteristics,we provide some strategies of constructing mathematic index.With the achievement of modern information retrieval tchnology,we design and implement a web-based formulas retrieval system.
