Integrated Drilling System

The Integrated Drilling System (IDS) is based on a computer network that interconnects all drilling machinery and sensors to a distributed supervisory and control concept. This has been used to implement automated operations and full remote control from a central control room, with multi-media technology utilised for the man-machine interface.
