The invention relates to an online social network webpage searching method and a webpage searching system. When a user visits an online social network, the online social network searches all webpages which are recommended to the user by friends of the user. As for all the searched webpages, the online social network picks up time interval from the time when the friends forward the webpages to thetime when the user visits at the time, forwarded times and quantity of the webpages forwarded by the user and recommended by the friends. The online social network ranks all the webpages with the time interval, the times to be forwarded and quantity of the webpages forwarded by the user and recommended by the friends serving as parameters, and the online social network returns all or partial searching results according to the ranking. The online social network webpage searching method is low in calculating cost and independent of the user to provide searching key words, needs no crawling webpages, meets individuation and effectively avoids problems such as information overload.
