Research for PTS method for reducing PAPR of OFDM signal

Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), which transmits signals at high data rate, provides great immunity to multi-path fading. One of the main disadvantages of OFDM is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). There are several kinds of method to reduce PAPR of OFDM. Partial transmit sequence (PTS) technique can improve the PAPR statistics performance of an OFDM signal and it is an effective algorithm. In this paper an improved PTS technique based on ordinary PTS method is presented to reduce calculative complexity.
