Repair and Rehabilitation of Heavy Timber Trusses

Methods of analysis and common repairs to timber trusses in roofs of industrial and commercial buildings being renovated for continuing use are examined. The pertinent code changes and use changes resulting in non-conformance of existing structures are discussed. Suggestions for improving lateral force resistance are included.
