Probability methods of fracture toughness on the basis of cutting off-tail distribution

On the basis of cutting off-tail distribution theory and stress-strength interference model, this paper produces the probability methods of fracture toughness,which eliminate the case that reliability is always less than 1 when calculating fracture toughness using theoretical distribution currently used. Calculating examples prove that the new methods are practical and more conform to the fact.
