IPCT Journal Readership Survey

The publisher and editorial board of lnferpersonal Computing and Technology: An Electronic Journal for the 27st Century conducted a survey of its readers in April 1994. This was done to gather information on several issues of general concern to the scholarly community regarding electronic publishing, authoring, and reading. We sought to add to our understanding of authors’ and readers’ concerns with the credibility, access, and permanence of electronic journals within a changing technological environment. Discussion of using electronic surveys as a data gathering methodology is also discussed.
