This study tested the reliability and predictive validity of a scaling technique (the Minnesota scale) used to assign discrete development preference scores to campers in Northern Minnesota's public park campgrounds. Also, background variables were isolated that were significantly associated with camper scale score types, and suggestions were made for management agencies to use this scaling technique. 12 pages.
